Hydra Buildings strives to efficiently accumulate and effectively manage brownstone buildings within Manhattan. The company operates on two principles to accomplish these goals, while continuing to expand its operations:

• Making improvements that will increase both the quality and value of its buildings
• Providing cordial and professional building management services to its tenants

Management Bios

Shih-Siang Shawn Liao, President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Liao is the founder, president, and chief executive officer of Hydra Worldwide Corporation and all of its related companies. Mr. Liao oversees the corporate development, technology evaluations, financial management, and legal relationships for these companies.

Ian Rhys Palmer, Vice-President, Sales & Marketing
Mr. Palmer is the Vice-President, Sales & Marketing of Hydra Worldwide Corporation. He manages the companies' marketing activities, vendor accounts, and employee relations. Prior to joining the Hydra companies, Mr. Palmer was the assistant manager for the New Product Development department at Medscape, Inc, where he researched and evaluated non-clinical e-commerce products and software service tools. He has also worked as the sales & marketing manager for Singular Publishing Group where he was responsible for budgeting and scheduling the sales and marketing activities for the company's various allied-health product lines.

Jonathan B. Rushmore, Vice-President, Operations
Mr. Rushmore is in charge of managing the Hydra companies’ operational logistics, architectural development and interior design activities. Prior to joining the Hydra companies, Mr. Rushmore designed and project managed for George W. Sweeney Architects.

Raymond Yau-Hing Ku, Vice-President, Research
Mr. Ku is the chief research specialist for the Hydra companies regarding legal issues, technology applications, and various industry competitors. Mr. Ku joins the Hydra companies from Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation (CSFB), where he specialized in treasury support and supervised the reconciliation of bank balances between front and back office workers. Prior to working at CSFB, Mr. Ku managed over-the-counter and precious metals options, supported members for the Union Bank of Switzerland and oversaw back office activities for Lehman Brothers.

Floyd Webb, Properties Manager
Mr. Webb brings over 15 years of diverse property management experience to Hydra Buildings. In addition to his most recent work for Olympic Management, Mr. Webb has managed numerous large-to-small residential and commercial properties in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Webb was formerly in the U.S. Marine Corps. and has spent the last 12 years coaching organized high school basketball teams.
